1969 Shelby GT500 Drag Pak in Black Jade with White Deluxe Interior

This gorgeous Shelby GT 500 is one of our newest acquisitions. It is Black Jade, a color that was only available in 1969 and has a White Deluxe interior. It also has the white GT 500 stripes which make a stunning combination. It has a 428 “R-code” engine, Super Cobra Jet, a factory 4 speed but is now equipped with a 5 speed. The original transmission will come with the car for future value and changes if desired. It also has power steering, power disc brakes, a factory tach, traction-loc rear end, factory oil cooler, and Drag Pak option. The interior comes with the original Shelby console and gauges, a fold down rear seat, deluxe belts, and an upgraded stereo system. It does have a factory rollbar and deluxe seat belts; new Shelby 5 spoke wheels and BFG tires. The original Shelby tags are on the driver’s door. The milege shows 27,293 non actual miles.
The paint is incredible along with the fit and finish looking better than the factory production. A few note worthy production numbers include that out of the 1157 GT 500 Shelby’s only 83 were painted in Black Jade with only 9 of those being equipped with the Factory Drag Pak option.
The 1969 Super Cobra Jet engine has been date code verified with the original heads, intake, Holley carburetor, the Ram-Air cleaner, snorkel, and heat shield. Factory exhaust manifolds, and a correct working smog system are also on this car.
