This stunning Mustang is a restored and recently reconditioned Mach 1 Cobra Jet. It is a double R code built in San Jose with a 428 4 V CJ Ram Air, a C-6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power disc brakes, power steering with a deluxe tilt steering wheel, AM/8 track Stereo Radio, factory air conditioning, Deluxe seat belts, front bumper guards, new Magnums with BFG radial tires.
This Mach 1 just went through a detailed and thorough engine out, tuned and serviced along with a complete transmission rebuild. While the engine was out, the engine compartment was completely refreshed and made correct with the original Ford Shaker including the heat shield and snorkel. It has the factory Holley carburetor, Carter fuel pump and original smog system. It comes with a framed Elite Marti report. The mileage is 21,997 non-actual miles.
It was originally delivered to Hughson Ford in San Francisco, CA and was built on December 26, 1968. Out of the 23 Aztec Aqua Mach ‘s with Black Mach 1 interiors, this is the only one that was ordered with air conditioning. It is a gorgeous car, a dream to drive and ready for a new owner.
