Under the hood, the 428 FE engine has been taken to the next level with a date-coded 428 block, factory 428 crank and rods, and .030 pistons. It’s topped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Ford Police Interceptor intake, and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke. Supporting upgrades include a Comp cam and lifters, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator, and a full balanced rotating assembly. The engine bay is finished with Shelby-branded valve covers and air cleaner, aluminum pulleys, and a clean presentation built for both show and go.

Inside, you’ll find a deluxe interior paired with Pro-Comp gauges, a Shelby-style steering wheel, and a Ford T-handle shifter controlling the brand new 5-speed manual transmission. Out back is a Ford 9” rear end with 3.70 gears and Posi-Traction, putting the power down with confidence. This GT500 Tribute may honor its roots, but it now delivers a stronger punch and a more refined drive — all wrapped in a brilliant coat of Acapulco Blue with white Le Mans stripes.
