Description

This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a one-owner example finished in its factory Grabber Orange over black standard interior and backed by an Elite Marti Report and original window sticker. Built at the Metuchen plant on October 10, 1969, it was ordered with the legendary Boss 302 V8, four-speed wide-ratio manual transmission, and 3.50 Traction-Lok rear axle. The engine carries an August 26, 1969 date code, appropriate for the car’s October 1969 production.

Approximately 15 years ago, the car received a high-quality repaint in its original Grabber Orange, including the correct textured black treatment and an original Ford stripe kit. The body remains exceptional, with no evidence of replacement floor pans, frame rails, or other sheet-metal repairs. Much of the interior remains original, including the seats, door panels, shifter, and tachometer, while the carpet has been replaced. The original Shaker assembly remains in place along with the proper intake, valve covers, radiator, horns, Magnum 500 wheels, and vintage Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Factory equipment includes the Shaker hood scoop, rear deck spoiler, Sport Deck rear seat, power steering, AM radio, Magnum 500 chrome wheels, tachometer and trip odometer, competition suspension, power front disc brakes, and quick-ratio steering. The car currently wears short headers and dual exhaust, while the original exhaust manifolds were retained by the original owner and accompany the car. The trunk remains exceptionally complete with its correct speckled mat, space-saver spare, original scissors jack and handle. With one-owner history, extensive originality, excellent body integrity, and outstanding documentation, this Grabber Orange Boss 302 is an exceptional example of one of Ford’s most celebrated performance Mustangs.
